NOLA Black Mental Health Matters Therapy Fund

NOLA Black Mental Health Matters is committed to creating better access to quality mental health care for Black New Orleanians. Through the NOLA Black Mental Health Matters Therapy Fund, we will be able to provide free mental health services to Black community members while ensuring equitable pay for clinicians. Our pilot program will cover the cost of 12 therapy sessions for 25 individual who are 18 and older and meet the following criteria: 

- Identify as a member of the Black community (we recognize the entire African diaspora)

- Reside in the Greater New Orleans area 

- Is currently uninsured or underinsured (current insurance does not cover healthcare needs, such as access to quality behavioral health services) 

- Seeking behavioral health services presently 

Our goal is to launch the fund by August 2025! Please stay tuned for more information in the coming months.Â
